English/Dutch Brass Dovetailed Salt or Tobacco Box
Unusual pattern you don’t see very often. The top is hinged and the interior is tin lined. The back is dovetailed.... look close to see the great back for hanging this wall box. Measures 11 5/8 tall; hard to tell if this was a salt box or for tobacco. Dating 1760 period. Good 18th Century piece for a tavern setting.
