Early 19th century original red painted small splint basket

Outstanding shape and condition. Original dry surface red paint outside of this basket. Has nice carved handle and dating mid 19th century. Wonderful untouched american basket with original strong red color. Measures 9 inches round and 6 inches tall . With a 10 inch height total with handle. In perfect shape with normal wear.
