19 C Painted Table Salt Apprentice to Leland Ware

This original painted table salt is 1 1/4 in diameter with a cream color base paint and folky painted design on the sides. This artist worked under the famous Leland Ware of PA Folk artist. 19th century painted by Wm. Hekig of PA.  Outstanding age and light wear.
